Yuri- Doki Doki Literature Club

For starters, I really love how this piece turned out. I like how you went a bit further than her hair and eyes with the purple color scheme by coloring the background purple as well and giving her purple nails. And I agree that the sweater is a much better outfit than her school uniform. However, if you were going for the one she wears at your house, then that one has a more silver color and has more elaborate striped stitching on it. However, this creamy color for her sweater also suits her, and I am seriously having a hard time deciding which one suits her more. In addition to this, the style that you employed here does seem a bit off considering the style of the source material, but I feel that you pulled this one off really well in any case. The background also suits it well. Her facial expression does look a bit too derpy for her character in my opinion, and I feel that this may be a product of your style. Also, I feel like the two big things contributing to this are the eye size, which I do not mind at all, and the lip color and shape. This is still a beautiful piece, but I feel like it could maybe look a bit better by taking the purple a bit farther and giving Yuri purple lipstick. That is my opinion, and I am guessing that not everyone will appreciate the purple lips. In any case, I love this piece overall!
